Primary Health Organisations (PHOs) and their practices use the annual statement to assess whether their proposed fee increases to the patient co-payment are considered ‘reasonable’ by their District Health Board (DHB).

There are now four confirmed cases of Influenza A (H1N1), or swine flu, in the Waikato District Health Board region.
