Advertising on the Health Connection

The Health Connection website is very focused on the New Zealand health sector so by advertising with us you target a very select audience.

We offer an 'enhanced directory listing' option for health sector organisations listed in the directory as well as a range of banner advertising options.

Our banner advertising is based on exposure which, in web advertising terms, is generally referred to as "impressions" — the number of times an ad is displayed or seen. We charge on a standard cost per thousand (CPM) rate, which is the cost per 1,000 impressions or ad views.

Banner advertising rates rates depend on the size and placement of the banner, but are between NZ$10 and NZ$75 per CPM which in simple terms is between 2 and 10 cents per advert view.

Enhanced listings

It is free to list a New Zealand based health sector organisation in the Health Connection directory but you can enhance your listing with a full page of text explaining your business for a small annual fee.

• Enhanced listing cost: $39.50 per annum.

The Health Services Consumer Research Ltd. listing is an example of an enhanced directory listing.

It consists of an emphasis on your index listing, your logo, and an extra full page of rich text with links, images or even video.

Banner advertising

You can target a very specific health sector audience with banner advertising on over 4000 pages in the Health Connection Directory.

We offer two types of banner advertisements and all banners run on a site-wide basis appearing on almost all of the 4000+ pages of the directory.

Tile ads

Tile ads sit in the right hand column and must be 160 pixels wide by 160 pixels high at no more than 12k.

Cost: $50 CPM

Tower ads

Towers run in the left hand column beneath the main navigation area and must be 150 pixels wide by up to 200 pixels high at no more than 20k.

Cost: $75 CPM

Panel ads

Panel ads run on the main directory pages only (still over 4000 pages) and sit in the middle of the page below the main content. 300 pixels wide x 240 pixels high at no more than 12k

Cost $40.00 CPM

Button ads

Button ads run at the bottom of the page and must be 88 pixels wide by 31 pixels high at no more than 5k

Cost: $10.00 CPM
