Care Manager - Wellington - Intellectual Disabilities

Are you passionate about working with people with intellectual disabilities?

This opportunity would suit someone who has previous experience in working with individuals with intellectual disabilities and complex behavioural needs.

My client is looking for a Care Manager for their Wellington based organization which provides community based support to individuals with intellectual disabilities and complex behavioural needs so that they are able to participate in the community.

You will have responsibility for:
-Developing quality service plans for clients
-Liaising with the team and external agencies to achieve client needs
-Staff training
-Working with the management team
-Ensuring policies, procedures and systems are followed to ensure quality care is delivered.
-Developing quality assessment plans
-Liaising effectively with internal and external stake holders

You must be a Registered Health Practitioner, for example, Registered Nurse, Occupational Therapist, Social Worker, prior experience in working with people with intellectual disabilities and complex behaviours and have proven management/leadership experience.
