In this role you will provide support and advice for a tertiary laboratory servicing Waikato Hospital. The laboratory also provides specialist testing services for the greater Waikato region.

The successful candidate will in addition be expected to provide clinical chemistry support for four small secondary Health Waikato laboratories.

Essential for the position:

- Primary clinical Medical and Specialist Chemical Pathologist laboratory training

- Fellow of the Royal College of Pathologists of Australasia or equivalent

- Be vocational registered as a Pathologist with the Medical Council of NZ or be eligible to attain vocational

registration within two years of commencing employment.
